2015 Enterprise Visit for International Graduate Students (Including Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao)

1. Introduction:
In order to enhance willingness of international graduate students having their careers in Taiwan, CTCI Foundation has been arranging visiting tours of Taiwan’s high-tech companies and green enterprises for international graduate students to have more understandings about Taiwan’s business and working environment.
2. Host:CTCI Foundation
3. Activities (see appendix 1 for travel schedule):
(1)        Visit five selected corporations in Taiwan, learn how the real business operates, have face to face discussion with managers, and understand the development and prospects of Taiwan’s high-tech and green industry.
(2)        Unique tour of local culture and attractions.
4. Date:2015/07/02 (Thursday) – 2015/07/04 (Saturday)
5. Free of charge
(1)        CTCI Foundation will cover all the relative expenses during the trip, including transportation, accommodation, travel, travel insurance, attraction tickets and other expenses to visit.
(2)        CTCI Foundation will also reimburse the expense of public transportation for the students outside Taipei city and New Taipei City to Taipei Railway Station (ticket or invoice is required).

7. Eligible applicants:
International, overseas Chinese students or exchange students studying Master or PhD program in the related fields of science, engineering or technology in eligible universities and colleges (see appendix 2 for the list of eligible universities).

(1)        Application form (see appendix 3)
(2)        Copy of student ID (front side and back side)
(3)        Copy of photo page of Passport and copy of ROC(Taiwan) Resident Certificate for students from Mainland China, HK and Macao.
(4)        Autobiography
(5)        Health Declaration (see appendix 4)
(6)        Research abstract (500 words) or study plan (500 words)
(7)        Other support documents, such as academic transcript, recommendation letter, copies of personal honor and so on.

(3)        Whether admitted or not, the application materials will not be returned to the applicant in any circumstances.
10. Application due date:2015/05/15 (Friday)
11. Acceptance notification:
(1)        The review panel will review all applications, and notify the accepted applicants by the end of May.
(2)        Accepted applicants should provide Health Declaration within five working days from notification date to complete formal enrollment. Overdue will be disqualified, and vacancy will be filled by others. (Applicants also can choose to submit Health Declaration together with their applications)
12. Participant responsibilities:
(1)        Unless special circumstances occur, participants should stay in the group in the whole visiting tour.
(2)        For safety reasons, participants should follow the instructions during the whole visiting tour.
(3)        A short report of individual thoughts on this trip should be submitted to the host organization (either in English or Chinese).
